Great Days!

Clark was born the night our Great Leader was elected.  I drank that night to happiness and sorrow.  But the sun has come out and tomorrow Clark Cassius Wolf will be four!  Yesterday he had a pizza birthday party at school!

This week is Mommy and Daddy’s 10th anniversary!  They went out for dinner at the local casino while I stayed with my cousins!  Mommy had veal; she said it was delicious!

Time for coffee and dessert!

Daddy eating sweets!

After dinner mommy and daddy played the slots.  For fun they put in the maximum bet on their machine ($5) and pulled the handle.

They hit the thousand dollar jackpot, quickly cashed out and left, laughing all the way home.

Oh and the American people have voted out our Great Leader.

It surely has been a memorable weekend!

About toritto

I was born during year four of the reign of Emperor Tiberius Claudius on the outskirts of the empire in Brooklyn. I married my high school sweetheart, the girl I took to the prom and we were together for forty years until her passing in 2004. We had four kids together and buried two together. I had a successful career in Corporate America (never got rich but made a living) and traveled the world. I am currently retired in the Tampa Bay metro area and live alone. One of my daughters is close by and one within a morning’s drive. They call their pops everyday. I try to write poetry (not very well), and about family. Occasionally I will try a historical piece relating to politics. :-)

I love veal! It is hard to get here now, due to ‘sensibilities’ about how it is produced.
And $1000 dollars on one pull of the handle! They are doing something right, by leading a good life.
Congratulations to CC. One day he will realise how momentous his early birthdays have been
    Best wishes,Pete.

  2. How delightful! for your family. As for the great news echoing around the world, I am so thankful for all my friends and blog pals in America. I have a bunch of friends from drama school there. But every time Florida was mentioned on our news, I would think of you. Sleep well, Frank.

I wonder what he’ll do when he finally has to face the fact that he is no longer President.

Happy Birthday, Clark! Four is a great age. BTW, tell Mommy his school has good books displayed front facing, which is a big deal. Kudos to his teachers!

Frank, how are you? Have you fully recovered from whatever put you in hospital the second time?
    I sincerely hope so.
    Best wishes, Pete.
