Well the “fashion industry” has finally confirmed it.
The ideal woman is…………..a 12 year old pre-pubescent boy.
Yes ladies. If you want to wear ACNE clothes you must strive to look like a boy.
Sometimes you know in your heart something which cannot be denied. As far as fashion designers for women are concerned the ideal woman’s body comes in the shape of a pre-teen boy.
Today you can know the truth.
“WWD announced yesterday that the forthcoming fall campaign by fashion-forward Swedish brand Acne Studios will star Frasse Johansson, who is a 12-year-old school boy – who is modeling very expensive clothes meant for adult women.”
Acne Studios Casts Preteen Boy for Women’s Campaign
“Walking in high heels is so hard,” Johansson told WWD. “I don’t understand how anyone can walk in them.”
Now Frasse is the son of Acne’s creative director Jonny Johansson who asked his son to be a part of the campaign because he believes the boy represents the “new breed” of consumer, for whom the “cut and character” of clothing is paramount, “rather than seeking approval from society or following set norms.
What tripe.
The ads are part of the much larger movement in “fashion” toward androgyny but this unfashionable old man finds something troubling (not that I give it a second thought) in using a school boy to sell adult women’s clothing – and really expensive clothing at that.
Not many teenage and 20-something women can afford the $1,200 coats and $400 sunglasses Acne traffics in. So it’s not that Acne is using a pre-teen boy to market it’s clothing to teens.
The older well off women who are the target of these ads might have at least some hope of seeing themselves in a 25 year-old model with an adult body with some curves (however scant). I wonder how they feel when a 12 year old boy is posited as the ideal?
Insulted I would think. And an expensive insult at that.
So there it is sisters. Pre-teen boys are the new ladies. Be sure to rush out and buy their stuff! It’s just the hottest!

The clothes look like rubbish, and the name is associated with facial spots. Not a winning combination in my book, whether they use a boy, a girl, or a LGBT model.
