Yesterday I reached 20,000 views on this blog – a pretty nice milestone for an old retired guy living in Florida who tries to write poetry (not very well) and sundry other posts.
Half of those total views, some ten thousand came in the last seven months. Ten thousand times in the last 7 months someone in the world visited my blog and clicked on something. That’s pretty good traffic considering I am not on any social media, have no Facebook page or Twitter account.
My eldest daughter laughs. She said she is getting very tired fingers clicking on my blog to make me feel good!!
While I am pleased to have reached this milestone I am prouder still of the number of countries where these visitors reside – 105 countries..
Countries ranging from Jordan, Iraq and Palestine, Saudi Arabia to Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, Russia, the U.K., Italy, the Netherlands, Brazil, Argentina, Costa Rica, Korea and Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
It’s nice to have so many readers in countries other than my own. See if your flag is on the list!
Sincerest thanks to those of you who come by to visit – I hope you continue to visit and enjoy.
